By using My 50s Life ("the Service"), operated by Snowy Mountain Software (ZYEYZ, LLC) ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
My 50s Life is a browser-based board game for two to eight players. The board is displayed on a shared screen and each player uses their own phone as a controller. It is a work of comic fiction set in an imagined present day, and nothing in it is a statement about any real person, company, or period.
The Service is in closed beta. It may change substantially, be unavailable without notice, and lose data between builds. Games in progress may not survive an update. Do not rely on it for anything that matters.
Hosting a game requires an invited account during the closed beta. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account.
Joining a game requires no account. A player needs a room code and a display name. This is a deliberate and permanent part of the design, not a limitation of the beta.
Display names are visible to everyone at your table. Do not choose a name that is obscene, harassing, impersonates somebody else, or reveals another person's private information. A host is responsible for who they invite to their table. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break this.
The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account, and the Service is not directed at children under 13.

Skill questions are generated so that their answers are computed rather than recalled, which is how we keep them beyond dispute. If you believe a question is wrong, tell us and we will check it against the seed that produced it. We do not, however, warrant the accuracy of any individual question, and the outcome of a game is not a matter we will arbitrate.
The game, its content, code, artwork, music, and design are owned by Snowy Mountain Software (ZYEYZ, LLC) and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not redistribute, resell, or republish them.
The closed beta is free. If paid subscriptions are introduced, the terms and prices will be presented before any charge is taken. Beta access does not entitle you to future paid access.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snowy Mountain Software (ZYEYZ, LLC) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
